I am a parent who has 3 children diagnosed with Autism. Raising children with special needs has been physically , emotionally and mentally very exhausting. It has been very challenging, stressful and very difficult at times. As a family it has been very stressful and challenging to get support for our children.
During the holidays as a family we face the most challenging and difficult times. My children have sleep issues and as parents we have never slept for more than few hours. It was very stressful and challenging looking after our 3 children for 24 hours without any breaks. We became mentally and physically exhausted. We tried for hours and hours trying to book our children on clubs but due to their high challenging needs no club would accept them. We felt distressed and frustrated. I was very upset and felt that my children were being discriminated due to their SEN needs. This was the most stressful time for us but as a parent I did not give up and believed their would be a club out their that would be suitable for my children to attend in the holidays.
We then came across Our special Angels who were like a dream come true. At that moment we felt that there was light at the end of the tunnel. OSA welcomed us with open arms, understood our situation and accepted my children. My children started attending the club with the biggest smiles on their faces. Each day they would ask to go back to the club. This showed that this place was amazing.

Our children were in safe hands. Our special Angels is the most suitable provision for special needs children. The staff are brilliant and have very good experience working with children that have SEN. If it wasn’t for Our special Angels I am not sure how we would have coped during the holiday. I know my children are safe at the club and are very well looked after. We are very grateful for their service and as a parent I have recommended this service to all the other mums too who are in the similar situation. All the other mums have come back with just praise for this club.
